Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy is a creative and practical way of processing emotions and working through current issues you may be facing. You will work with a qualified therapist and a herd of horses, in an outdoor setting. No riding is required and no prior experience with horses is needed.
Horses are intelligent animals with individual personalities. They mirror behaviours, which can help you to understand how you might be feeling if you are unsure.
Issues that Equine Facilitated Therapy can help with are trauma, low self-confidence, anxiety, low mood, behavioural issues, anger and relationship issues. Working in EFP can also help people develop skills such as leadership, problem-solving, working well with others, assertiveness, creative thinking and confidence.
